Community parades and fireworks are an integral part of not just celebrating Independence Day, but also bringing residents together to create memories and community. West Hawai'i residents and guests of all ages have been awed by the excitement of our fireworks in Kailua Bay and the beautifully decorated floats and bands along with the spirit of celebrating our wonderful country.

This year, new and spirited volunteers are helping keep the parades and fireworks going, while under the direction of past volunteer leadership. The Kailua-Kona Community Parade Association has endeavored to make sure the tradition of the parade and fireworks continue in Kailua-Kona and we welcome your enthusiastic sponsorship!

We are incorporating some new sponsor benefits for you so we can continue to have a successful Independence Day Parade and Fireworks Extravaganza display on the 4th of July! This year we will be posting flyers around town also seeking donations for the fireworks show from the public with a QR code.
